P5 - Prelimary Task

We decided to do our preliminary task on The Maze Runner, the new film starring Dylan O'Brien. We pretended that one of our team members were one of the main stars and had an interview with 'him'. We had two presenters, and tried to resemble a flowing conversation between the two to make it a much more casual interview rather then strict closed questions.

We added the sound effect of the clapping which makes the audio more effective as if we had just had the person being introduced, it would have been boring. This is what we will try to do in our main radio newscast; try to add sound effects that relate to the newscast so that it will intrigue yet entertain our audience.

We also added in an extract from the film to give those audience members a taster of the film if they haven't already seen it yet and for those who have, will clearly be inticed by the celebrity. This could possibly, supposedly give us a larger audience

P4 - Logo

 Our Logo

We have create our logo like this because we didn't want anything too formal. Our audience for the news cast is young people, therefore we thought it was appeal to them it the font of the text was intriguing like a handwriting.

Similarly, we thought we should use the gradient of blue. If we had used pink, then he logo would not appeal to our male audience, however, blue can appeal to both young male and females as well as older ones. The colour blue is stereotypical of representing a nice blue sunny day, therefore it could imply that whenever you listen to Tweenz FM, you'll have a good day.

The use of the shadow simply maxes the logo pop out at the audience, making it stand out, therefore we have used this to attract the audience. The use of the logo all together is to help the audience automatically recognise our radio station let alone the news cast that we will produce.
